Curcumin Study
Cork Clinic
In this study, we are looking for volunteers to help us investigate how curcumin levels change in the blood over time.
All participants will receive €350 upon completion of the study.

Study Background
This study is looking to evaluate the absorption of curcumin following varying doses of an oral curcumin formulation, compared with comparator product.
Participants in the study will be randomly assigned to either receive the product or a comparator product.
Curcuminoids are a group of naturally occurring polyphenolic compounds extracted from the rhizomes of Curcuma longa (turmeric). They are widely recognized for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and are commonly used in dietary supplements and functional foods.
The study will involve blood samples at various timepoints over an 8 hour period.
Who is Eligible?
All our studies have eligibility criteria which is dependent on the type of study, the health area and the population.
- Generally healthy adults, aged 18-45
- Comfortable with blood draws
- Able to attend the Cork clinic

Product
Consume doses of a curcumin product orally.
Visits
Attend 2 onsite visits to our Cork clinic.
Samples
Blood samples are required.
