Study Background
This study is looking at the potential brain health benefits of an American ginseng supplement. American ginseng contains natural compounds called ginsenosides, which research suggests may help support brain function and cognition.
Previous studies on this supplement have shown improvements in areas like memory, reaction time, and mood. It has also been tested in high-performance settings, such as with race car drivers, where improvements in performance were seen.
You will either take the real supplement or a placebo. The study involves 2 visits over 2 weeks. To understand the effect this product may have on cognitive function, you will complete a series of assessments of cognitive function. Blood samples will also be collected to assess the impact of the study product on you.
