Cork Clinic

 

We’re studying how a Greek Mountain Tea effects cognitive performance in adults. 

 

No samples are required besides urine tests for females. The product will only be taken TWICE throughout the entire study.

 

All participants will receive €250 upon completion of the study.

Study Background

 

This study is looking at how a tea product can influence brain activity and brain health. This will be assessed using sensors that participants will wear during the cognitive assessments.

 

Greek mountain tea has been used for thousands of years; it is rich in polyphenols and flavonoids that help fight oxidative stress and inflammation. 

 

Participants in the study will be randomly assigned to either receive the product or a placebo, which is a non-active version of the product.

Who is Eligible?

 

All our studies have eligibility criteria which is dependent on the type of study, the health area and the population.

 

  • Generally healthy adults
  • Aged 40-70
  • Living in Cork

 

This study involves 3 visits over 3 weeks:

  • Week 1: Phone call (20 mins)

  • Week 2: Visit 2 (2.5 hours) - 7 days later

  • Week 3: Visit 3 (2.5 hours) - 7 days later
