In this study, we are looking for volunteers to explore how a collagen supplement may support skin ageing. 

 

All participants will receive $200 upon completion of the study.

Study Background

 

The study compares a daily bovine collagen peptide powder with a placebo and evaluates facial wrinkle depth, fine lines, skin smoothness, firmness, elasticity and hydration over 12 weeks.

 

Evidence from randomised, placebo-controlled trials suggests that oral collagen supplementation may enhance certain skin-related outcomes. 

 

Skin assessments will include Antera 3D imaging, corneometer and cutometer measurements, VAS-Skin and self-assessment questionnaires. 

Who is Eligible?

 

All our studies have eligibility criteria which is dependent on the type of study, the health area and the population.

 

  • Females
  • Aged 35-65 years
  • Visible wrinkes and fine lines around the eyes
  • Skin that is sensitive to sunlight and burns easily
