Phone Screening Step 2

Next, one of our friendly Recruitment Officers will reach out to you by phone. They'll walk you through the study details, answer any questions, and explore your eligibility further. It's a conversation, not just a checklist.

Clinic Screening Visit Step 3

If you're part of a hybrid trial, this step might be partly or fully remote. You may be asked to visit our clinic for certain assessments or have some conducted virtually, like online health questionnaires.

Enrollment Step 4

Congratulations on making it this far! You're officially part of the Atlantia family. We'll introduce you to the study team, walk you through the process, and you'll start your first treatment, be it on-site or remotely.

Follow-up Visits Step 5

Throughout the study, you'll have scheduled check-ins to monitor your progress. Depending on the trial design, these may occur in our clinic or through secure virtual health platforms, making participation convenient no matter where you are.

Study Completion Step 6

As the study wraps up, not only will you have contributed to medical research, but you'll also receive compensation for your invaluable role in advancing science.

How do I qualify for a clinical trial?

Each trial has its own set of Inclusion & Exclusion criteria. Eligibility depends on the specific study's inclusion and exclusion criteria, which can include age, health condition, medical history, and lifestyle.

Inclusion criteria are requirements that participants must have in order to qualify for a study. Exclusion criteria are characteristics that disqualify participants from a study.

What should I expect during the screening visit?

The screening visit may include health assessments such as physical exams, blood tests, and questionnaires. In hybrid trials, some aspects may be conducted remotely.

How is my safety protected during the trial?

Participant safety is our top priority. All trials are approved by our local ethics committee which is a rigorous process. This committee is made up of consultants, regulatory specialists, nurses & the general public. ‍

The majority of our trials use products which have no known risks or side effects. If there are any known risk associated with product they are clearly stated in the informed consent which is given to you prior to the beginning of your first visit to our clinic. ‍

All our staff are trained to conduct research trials according to ICH-Good Clinical Practice standards. This means a strict set of procedures is followed which ensures you are treated with care, consideration, and respect.

Is my personal information kept confidential?

Absolutely. Your data is protected in compliance with GDPR and other privacy standards, ensuring your personal information remains confidential.

How much will I be paid?

Each study's payment amount differs. You'll find exact amounts listed on each study's sign-up page. The payment method given is in the form of a cheque paid once you have successfully completed the trial.

What happens if I decide to withdraw from the trial?

You can withdraw from the trial at any time, for any reason. Depending on the study terms, you may or may not receive partial compensation for your participation up to that point.
