We are currently seeking to hire a positive, hardworking professional to fulfill the role of HR Business Partner to join the team. The Marketing & Study Recruitment Manager will play a leading role in recruiting participants for clinical trials. They will need excellent communication & presentation skills, be target-driven and have the ability to organise both themselves and others.  They will work as part of the Operations team, to ensure the successful delivery of each research project as outlined in the contract. They will oversee all external communications to participants and media sources, ensuring the message is consistent and engaging.

About the Role

We are excited to be recruiting an HR Business Partner to join our team in Cork. This is a part-time role (20 hrs per week) and you will be a key member of the team, sharing your knowledge and expertise to ensure that we deliver best in class HR programs and initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment, Selection and Retention

  • Work closely with hiring managers, manage recruitment processes end to end, from advertising posts, shortlisting of candidates, interviews, selection and job offers.  
  • Inform management team of industry and competitor benchmarking results for compensation and benefits.
  • Manage new employee onboarding process.
  • Liaise with payroll as required on any staff pay items linked to recruitment, internal promotions, leavers etc.
  • Review and update job descriptions and employee contracts.
  • Identify opportunities for Atlantia to participate in recruitment events, promoting the Atlantia brand and attracting a future talent pool.
  • Manage the Intern programme, from candidate application to successful completion of internship.
  • General administration duties relating to the HR function.

Performance Management

  • Drive the integration of Performance Management systems throughout the organization, to deliver on strategic objectives.
  • Design and deliver Performance Appraisal and Goal Setting Training programmes for managers and employees.
  • Support managers and employees to ensure consistency in objective setting and measurement of performance.

Learning and Development

  • Manage the learning and development plan and budget.
  • Liaise with all departments to identify training needs and source relevant training providers.
  • Encourage an environment of continuous learning to support personal and career development.

Employee Experience and Engagement

  • Manage the Employee Engagement Process and drive agreed initiatives in response to employee surveys.
  • Co-ordinate Sports and Social initiatives in conjunction with team representatives.
  • Ensure that the Employee voice is heard and provide feedback to management team for continuous improvement.

Employee Legislation

  • Ensure that staff handbooks are kept up to date with new company policies and communicated to all employees.
  • Assist and advise management & staff on company policy queries and employee relations issues.
  • Manage grievance & disciplinary investigations as required.
  • Understand employment law and keep management and employees up to date on changes in legislation.

GDPR

  • Be the main GDPR champion to work with external Data Protection Officer
  • Drive GDPR compliance within the organization.
  • Ensure that adequate data protection measures are in place to ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Serve as the contact point to the data protection authorities for all data protection issues.
  • Serve as the contact point for individuals (data subjects) on privacy matters, including subject access requests.
Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree level in Human Resources
  • Member of CIPD is preferred
  • 5+ years experience as a HR Manager / Advisor
  • Experience in implementing Performance Management Systems
  • You will be recognized as a HR expert with a broad network that can be leveraged for benchmarking and gaining critical industry insights that can add value to the business
